Shattered Gods is the final book in Katee Robert’s 10-book Dark Olympus series. Honestly, I have loved this wild, messy, dramatic world from start to finish ever since I started this journey in 2021.
There is something so addictive about the politics, the danger, the mythology-inspired chaos, and the way every book gives us characters who are impossible not to root for. I went into this one fully ready to be emotional, satisfied, and completely wrecked by the ending.
While I still had such a fun time reading Shattered Gods and was genuinely giggling the entire time, I did feel a little let down by the finale. For a series this big, with ten books worth of tension and buildup, I wanted more of a true conclusion. The ending wrapped things up, but it did not give me the full-circle emotional payoff I was hoping for. It felt like the love story seemed a bit forced at times, especially compared to some of the stronger romances earlier in the series (Hades and Persephone where you at!).

Final Thoughts: Katee Robert knows how to write tension, banter, and characters who keep me turning pages. Even with my issues, I was entertained from beginning to end. Shattered Gods may not have been the finale I dreamed of, but I loved the journey and this series will always have a special place on my shelf.
