4 Stars

Kasi Blythwood is an idie director and filmmaker looking to fund her newest food documentary. While at a film conference in Texas she meets Declan Everheart and sparks fly. When the opportunity comes to fully fund her documentary she jumps on it in order to have her dream and maybe fall in love too.

First thing, this book is STEAMY and I LOVED it! I did not know that I was jumping into book 2 of a series but it did not seem like I missed anything by starting here maybe a couple of Easter Eggs about the other brothers. The characters felt real to me and like they really were falling in love. They had genuine flaws and could be mean to each other but that’s what made it seem like they really were trying to work through their flaws and no one is perfect.

The narrator, Deanna Anthony, made Kasi, as the protagonist, come to life and her genre voicing throughout the audiobook was believable.

Final Thoughts - pick this book up if you like a realistic relationship with LOTS of steam.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for this ARC in exchange for my honest review!
